You know have a great product if your core competency is preventing embarrassing situations, as in this case, preventing your towel from falling off.
Ian Johnston, a fellow from the Open University (No idea where that is) has created a safer towel for Johnson & Johnson (no relation), that actually worked nine out of ten times.
The trick is to have the fabric woven diagonally as opposed to straight across to give it more grip with its tied together. Second, have two strips of elastics stitched in to the top of the towel with two strips of water-resistant fleece for additional grip.
The company says it still need to assess the tests on the towel before deciding whether to put it on the market.

Were you being sarcastic? The Open University, which is aimed at mature learners, is very well known in the UK. See their website at http://www.open.ac.uk/. Knowledge is Power. Cheers.
